Behind every video licensed and every filmer paid is a financial system that runs smoothly, accurately, and on time. As we grow, maintaining strong financial processes is critical to ensuring trust, compliance, and operational excellence.

That’s where you come in.

We're looking for a Finance Officer who will take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping, payments, and month-end processes across our UK and US entities. You’ll ensure our financial frameworks are efficient, reliable, and fully compliant, directly supporting our creator community, commercial teams, and company-wide decision-making.

What You’ll DO

Financial Operations

• Manage all day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and reconciliations.

• Maintain accurate financial records, filings, tax documents and expense processes.

• Liaise with HMRC, banks, accountants and advisers as needed.

• Keep financial processes documented, updated and visible to the wider business. 

Accounts Receivable & Payable

• Raise and manage invoices, monitor outstanding debt and support credit control.

• Ensure all bills, filmer payments and employee expenses are processed accurately and on time.

• Reconcile PayPal/TransferWise payouts and investigate any discrepancies or undocumented transactions.
  

Month-End Close

• Fully manage month-end for both UK and US entities, including bank reconciliations, journal postings, intercompany billing and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Ensure Xero is accurate, complete and ready for consolidation.
  

Declarations

• Process client usage declarations to ensure timely and accurate filmer payments.
  Match declarations with invoices and identify opportunities to streamline and automate the workflow.
  

Projects & Cross-Functional Support

• Support the Head of Finance with ad hoc tasks, finance initiatives and cross-team projects aligned to company OKRs.

🏆 What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)

• You’ve taken full ownership of month-end and are closing both entities accurately and on time.

• Our accounts receivable and payable processes are running smoothly with strong debtor and credit control metrics.

• Filmer payments and declarations are processed reliably, with improved accuracy and reduced manual work.

• Xero is clean, consistent, and fully reconciled — a dependable source of truth for leadership.

• You’ve identified and implemented process improvements that lift efficiency and reduce financial risk.

• The wider team sees you as a dependable, proactive partner who keeps the financial engine running smoothly.

👤 About You

• Solid experience in bookkeeping, finance operations or similar roles.

• Strong working knowledge of Xero (or similar cloud accounting platforms).

• Excellent understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable and month-end processes.

• Highly organised, detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.Confident in managing reconciliations, journals, and compliance documentation.

• Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with non-finance teams.

• Proactive problem solver who enjoys improving processes and reducing inefficiencies.

• Bonus: Experience working with marketplaces, creator platforms or media businesses.
